In the 68th edition of Jukola, the world’s largest orienteering competition, won our LEDX- teams in Finland, Koovee from Tampere. Koovee was in the lead all moth throughout the race, at the sixth leg went Oleksandr Kratov steadily from Lidingö and Kalevan Rasti who chased behind. Oleksandr sent out Daniel Hubmann on the final leg with a lead of over four minutes, Daniel could then safely take the team to victory, Koovees first in 50 years.
We at LEDX are very happy for our cooperation with Koovee and believe in several successful years. The runners were happy afterwards, and even a little sentimental, here are some comments from them:
.- When I started my path, I felt excited. This I had been waiting for: that I alone in the lead will take on a challenging situation, said Lakanen that held Koovee in a steady lead.
– The largest press in the team was directed to me. It was especially exciting with this type of terrain that I was familiar to and I knew how to do this, says Myllärinen.
Lakanen shed tears of joy when the victory secured.
– It is a unique moment, emotions run high, said Lakanen.
– Koovee has a positive drive. It is a professional organization, says Hubmann
Congratulations from LEDX
