OPTIMAL FIELD OF LUMINANCE

The light from Cobra 6500 X-pand passes through 8 quality lenses. Together, they provide a very uniform light image that begins almost at your feet, providing light several hundred meters ahead. It also spreads the light widely, even in your peripheral field of view. This provides a restful and glare-free light, as close to daylight as you can get.

PERFECT BALANCE

LEDX Lights created the first headlamp that separated the LEDs from the electronics themselves. This provides higher efficiency, better cooling and a more compact lamp housing. Together, they form the basis for a light and well-balanced lamp.

MAXIMUM POWER

The power of 8 high-performance LEDs gives a beam of 6500 lumens. Cobra gives you full power for 1 hour and 40 minutes and up to 85 hours at the lowest power setting. Enough to experience the freedom that light gives you during most activities, without the restriction of darkness.

Functions Specifications

POWERFUL

Cobra 6500 X-pand, one of the strongest headlamps on the market, provides more light than most car lights (full and low beam combined). Cobra has 8 LEDs and electronics with a very high efficiency.

The design is unique with the electronics integrated in the lamp holder and a flat lamp housing with large heat sinks that dissipate heat efficiently. The lamp has a built-in dynamic temperature control that keeps the temperature at the right level (75 °C). When the lamp is used at the highest setting, however, it must be in motion to perform at max, normally it is possible to use the lamp stationary at 40%, (50% of the light ) even indoors.

The flat design with the head mount directly under the lamp provides a well-balanced and very light headlamp.

The result is a lamp with an extremely wide but still long light cone, the experience is that you are in a large bubble of light, which reaches very far. The wide light cone provides a reflective and restful light for the eyes.

DURABLE

We collaborate with many users of our products and with their help we optimize the lamps for a number of different areas of use such as orienteering, enduro, MTB, search and rescue, snowmobiling, mining and more. Enduro riders are probably the ones who place the greatest demands on the durability and performance of lamps.

MOUNTS

With our various mounts, the lamp can be used on almost all types of helmets, such as bicycle helmets, forester helmets and most construction helmets. For enduro and scooter, our helmet mounts can hold up to two lamps for even better light.

X-PAND

Bright light does not mean everything, even more important is the light image! The light should not dazzle and have no sharp edges, but still reach far. Cobra provides more light closer to the feet while the light in the immediate area increases but still maintaining width and length. X-pand gives a very even light image that picks up almost directly at the feet and lays a mat of light several hundred meters forward. The lamps also scatter the light wide to the side, all the way to the peripheral field of view. This provides a restful and non-reflective light, as close to daylight as you can get.

BATTERY LIFE

Cobra has up to six different power settings, from 2% - 100%, which gives a battery life of up to 85 h. At full power, the lamp lights up for 1 h 40 min. By default, the lamp has three preset power settings of 6%, 40% and 100%. There is also a programmable mode where the lamp lights up immediately when it receives power.

BACKUP POWER

When the battery don't have enough power to run on the highest settings, the lamp automatically goes down to about 350 lm for about 1 hour, then the light drops to about 120 lm for another hour.

THE MOST ADVANCED HEAD MOUNT ON THE MARKET

Cobra is delivered with our Head Mount Pro that has a almost perfect fit. It goes extra far down the neck, which means that it fits well even with a hat underneath. The lamp mount is ergonomically designed and follows the head shape well. The headband is two-part and distributes the weight over the entire head, this is also appreciated by those who have a tassel or ponytail at the back of the neck.

The attachment point for the lamp is close to the forehead and is located almost directly below the balance point on the lamp housing, which means that the lamp's weight goes straight down to the attachment and the lamp does not become heavy. Together with the lamp's low weight, it makes the lamp very stable even when running in tough terrain.
